The Katherine Times is the weekly voice of the people who call the Katherine region of the Northern Territory home. The paper covers a diverse geographic area of more than 350,000 square kilometres, and spans from Western Australia to Queensland, and from Adelaide River to Elliott.
The Katherine Times was launched as an independent in 1983 and has built a reputation as an accurate and impassioned advocate for its readers, with editorial content reflecting what is on the minds of Territorians who use it as their weekly source of news.
It offers a mix of hard news and community-focused stories, which are the heart of all regional mastheads, in addition to weekly pages dedicated to local sport and
education.
