About the Role

As a Media Sales Consultant in Bathurst, you will be the face of our local mastheads, working to increase market share by partnering with new and lapsed local businesses. You will act as a strategic partner, helping local brands reach their audience through our integrated print and digital platforms.

You will be responsible for:

  • New Business Development: Prospecting for new customers through networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing a pipeline of new business and creating persuasive pitches that convert prospects into active customers.
  • Account Management: Growing and retaining existing accounts by presenting innovative digital and print solutions.
  • Market Expertise: Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the Bathurst market, our products, and the competitive landscape.

What You’ll Bring

  • Sales Excellence: 3-5 years of face-to-face sales experience with a proven track record of hitting targets.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think in solutions and demonstrate strategic marketing expertise.
  • Communication Skills: You are a confident negotiator and presenter with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Tech Savvy: Intermediate skills in Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) and CRM experience (Salesforce is a plus).
  • Mobility: A current valid driver’s license and a well-maintained vehicle are essential.
