Telesales Consultant

We are looking for driven telephone sales people with outstanding relationship building skills to join our friendly team. You will love speaking to both new and existing customers, identifying growth opportunities and assisting our valued customers with getting the best possible results from their advertising campaigns. This is an office based role at the front counter of the Launceston Examiner where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers at the front counter, accepting inbound calls and preparing the resulting advertisements, as well as outbound calling to existing and lapsed customers. This role will also include
- Meeting customer’s advertising needs across our extensive portfolio of print and digital programs
- Upselling and cross selling our various solutions to existing and new customers
- Developing strong relationships and providing appropriate support that will continue to delight our valued customers and grow ACMs revenue
- An onboarding program to give you the tools to succeed and exceed expectations

- The ability to follow an effective sales process and maximise cross selling opportunities across both our print and digital portfolios
- A results-driven attitude with an ability to work well in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong computer literacy
- Highly organised with an ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
